ONE OF THE FIRST TRUE SOUNDS EVERYBODY WAS LOOKING FOR IN
CHRISTIAN MUSIC TO REACH THE YOUTH OF THE STREETS!!....HE
SET THE MARK FOR ALL UPCOMING CHRISTIAN ARTISTS TO COME....I
TRULY BELIEVE THAT IF DANNY-D WOULD NOT HAVE BROUGHT
CHRISTIAN RAP TO THE LEVEL HE WAS AT,CHRISTIAN RAP WOULD NOT
BE WHERE IT IS TODAY!!!! HE WAS A HUGE WITNESS IN MY LIFE
AND THOUSANDS OTHER LIKE ME....I STILL VISIT HIM IN HIS
RESTING PLACE TO SAY THANKS TO THIS DAY.....

| Review: | D-Boy of voluit D-Boy Rodriguea heeft heel wat te melden in
de twaalf nummers die deze CD bevat. In het eerste nummer
roept hij de luisteraars op zichzelf te zijn That UB Urself.
In een van de andere nummers heeft hij het tegen de gangs en
de groupies: "Cease For Peace" stop met vechten en sluit
vrede. In "The Boy Don't Play" legt hij uit dat hij
serieus bezig is en geen onzin verkoopt. Alle scratches en
cuts doet D-Boy ook zelf. Overigens staat er ook een aardig
acapella nummer op. Rap van een straatdichter die gehoord
wilde worden en gehoord werd, totdat hij een aantal jaren
geleden werd doorgeschoten. Maar nog steeds luisteren mensen
naar zijn boodschap en nog steeds klinkt het ondanks de Old
Schools Beats verrassend modern. D-Boy was zijn tijd ver
vooruit. Deze CD uit 1990 lijkt in 1993 te zijn gemaakt.

| Review: | By far D-Boy's "The Lyrical Strength Of One Street Poet" is
still one of the most inspiring christian rap LP ever. I
listened to the cassette/CD countless times. I literally
couldn't get enough of it...Out of all the hits on the album
@ the time, "Last Days" spoke deeply to my heart considering
I was a young teen growing up in a hostile environment, but
I knew & understood Jesus Christ was my Savior. D-Boy was so
on point in every verse it was as if he was preaching to me
from Matthew Ch. 24...D-Boy was truly an inspiration to me &
I know he's being rewarded for God's work. I never met him,
