five in a rough section of South Central Los Angeles. Dedge
P grew up in the church as a very active participate in
several organizations within the church.
Basketball
At an early age Dedge P showed that he was talented in
sports and outside activities. He went on to play basketball
for a traveling team which won numerous championships with
Dedge P a their leader and captain. Although he excelled in
sports, he always had a special love for music.
Independant
At the age of 19, a local independent rap group was form
call South Centrals Finest (SCF). They released a record
called "Live From South Central" in 2001. The four rappers
consist of Immense, Taz, Mz. Mahogani, and Dedge P himself.
They worked with RAP-A-LOT's Yukmouth, ,San Quinn, Warren
G's Cobra Red of the Five Footaz, The Low Life's Frank
Nitty,and Dogg Pound's own Kurupt along with many others.
Dedge P also produced tracks for independent artists locally
and nationally. SCF even opened for West Side Connection's
ALLFRUMDAI.
NuffSaid Music
In 2003 Dedge P decided to give his life back to the Lord
and endorse the gospel of Jesus Christ. He formed the hip
hop gospel production company called NuffSaid Music and now
he make that feel good music for the soul.
Actor
A new experience is acting for the rapper as Dedge P.
announced on January 17th, 2008 he will act in a play called
"A Journey in Time" on February 16th, 2008.
Mixtapes
His label NuffSaid Music also releases The Free Mixtape
series.
Albums
The MC is currently in the studio working on his debut solo
album "Word On The Street", which is expected for 2008.
