Biography
Gabriel Moore, native of Fort Worth, Texas, “grew up in the
church” as most people claim. However, the Gospel was not
appealing to him. Consequently, he conformed to the world.
Captivated by popularity, women, money, drugs, and
materialism, he became complacent in sin.
Surrendered
After high school and his freshman year at Jarvis Christian
College, he transferred to Stephen F. Austin State
University in 2002. He found himself isolated and on the
verge of giving up until God timely invaded his life with
the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through two campus ministers.
God slowly revealed himself to Gabriel, until he finally
surrendered his life and desires to the Lord.
Poetry
Gabriel discovered he was blessed with the gift of poetry.
He embraced and cultivated this gift and began ministering
at secular and Christian events on campus, inspiring the
lives of many people.
Christian Fraternity
He joined Men of God Christian Fraternity, Inc (MOG) where
he was challenged, encouraged, and discipled by other
college-aged men. In MOG, he met Timothy Dixon (The
Channel) and Edwin Tatum (Judah). They grew in the LORD and
eventually established Kingdom Minded Records, LLC.
Name
It was in KMR that Gabriel took on the meaning of his birth
name and would be known as, “tha messenger” (all lower-case
letters, symbolizing the insignificance of himself in
comparison to Christ).
Married
He is married to a wonderful woman of God, Dietra Moore and
together they have a son, Immanuel Kaylon Moore and are
patiently and joyfully awaiting the arrival of their
daughter, Gabrielle Kennedy Moore. They attend Nacogdoches
Bible Fellowship, under the leadership of Pastor Norman
Keith Ellison.
Book & CD
At present, tha messenger released his poetry book: "Red Ink
Poetry : Where the Red Ink of the Bible and Poetry Unite."
Red Ink Poetry is comprised a biblical and lyrical approach
by “tha messenger” to communicate the heart of God in a
distinctive poetic form. Red Ink Poetry inspires it’s
readers to lay aside all of the weight plaguing our
communities, churches, families, marriages, and the
spiritual growth of believers. Red Ink Poetry makes the
common red print of our Bibles pertinent to our everyday
lives. |
