Punk
He grew up in the punk rock scene, but always dabbled in
hiphop. Therefore rock influences can still be heard back
in his style of hip hop. His live performances are known for
it's sheer energy. He says about his focus as an artist: "I
love and serve Jah with all my heart and am a missionary to
the street".
Membership
Wut Metaphysical is part of the hip hop collective Shadow of
the Locust and the St. Louis based hiphop crew Dead
Republic.
Albums
His debut album "Last of the Metaphysical Poets" is released
in April of 2006.
Tours
In 2005 the MC toured South America with Dirt and Shadow of
the Locust. He will be at Cornerstone 2006 and in 2007
there is a tour planned to Europe.
Columnist
Also, in late 2007 Wut Metaphysical became a monthly
columnist for the Christian Hip Hop Ezine Rapzilla.com. The
name of the column is "The Metaphysical Minute".
New Project
Pinnacle Rhythm's Shaun B. and Wut Metaphysical announce the
highly anticipated producer/MC collaboration project "Death
Be Not Proud" is to hit stores in September of 2008.
Instrumental Albums
An instrumental version of his 2006 album "Last of the
Metaphysical Poets" is released in 2008. It features
unreleased beats and remixes from the album. |
