Mission
Throughout society, Jesus Christ’s name has been demeaned
and degraded to little more than a cuss word. Most people
are clueless to His worthiness and have no idea what respect
and sincerity His name deserves. Jesus Disciple’s mission
is to re-establish that sincerity by obeying the great
commission of preaching the gospel and making disciples of
all nations, specifically the nation of Hip Hop, Matthew
28:19.
Challenge
At the same time, he challenges those who already claim to
be disciples of Jesus to look in the mirror and examine
themselves to see if they really are, of the faith. Because
one of the main reasons for such wide spread disrespect of
His name is the fact that so many so-called “Christians”
have such a low view of Jesus Christ themselves
Stereotype
His mission doesn’t stop there, though. There is a myth
that MC of the Christian faith have to be corny, weak and
simplistic, but JD completely obliterates that stereotypical
notion in every song with creative beats, aggressive rhymes
and elaborate lyricism.
He also breaks stereotypes in the christian circuit as well.
Instead of preaching the popular gospel of prosperity and
only focusing on one of God’s attributes, namely, His
love. He clearly articulates less popular biblical truths,
such as; God’s holiness and justice and man’s depravity
and need for repentance.
Beginnings
The rapper was first introduced to hip hop at the age of 10
when he saw the music video for "House of Representatives"
by The Cross Movement and since then he has been obsessed
with beats and lyrics.
Triple Album
A special Jesus Disciple project is the release of a triple
album set entitled "The Holy War", of which the record The
Holy War : Articulate Scrutiny would be the first to get
released. This project has been postponed until later
notice.

The MC released his debut album "The Solution To Life" in
2001. His next album is entitled "The Uprising" scheduled
for 2008. |
