Goal
The MC states about his mission: "I aim to point listeners
to Jesus Christ who is the God man, and who came to save the
sick and those who are a mess. I am a mess and still am a
mess even after conversion but that's OK. Christ came to
save people who are a mess, who aren't perfect. My goal is
to help people realize that Jesus is the only way to
heaven."
Music
The MC continues explaining: "My aim is to make music that
comes from the heart and to speak up on issues I feel are
important for listeners to here. Writing rhymes helps me to
get things off my chest and I feel I can be more transparent
through a song many times then I could be just talking to
someone."
EP
Believin Stephen released his debut recording What I Believe
EP in 2007.

The rapper explains: "The scene is an underground hip-hop
show and the cats on stage do not represent any particular
rappers but you can pretty much tell that they are boasting
about themselves, could be saved/unsaved. The CD cover is
really a depiction of the song entitled "Why Boast?"."
Observing
"Throughout the past eight years or so since I was 15, I
have been to countless hip-hop events. Since I turned 18
most of these events have been christian hip-hop events
around the country. A lot of times I find myself observing
from the background and playing the wall and analyzing what
is going on. That is why you see me seated in the corner
observing whats going down in the picture." [...]
Kept Silent
Believin Stephen: "Many times what I believe is not the most
popular or isn't the norm. I want to share with the listener
on this EP what it is that I exactly believe. From many
years I have been at events and have kept silent but now is
a time that the Lord wants me to speak up and say what He
has put on my heart."
