Releases: | [Feature Presentation] [Sail On (single)] [Equivalent To Water] [Ain't No Othas] | Info: | Jason Wallace is J-Wal and Brandon Wallace is S.o.L (Servant
of the Lord), these brothers are The Divine Soldiers.
After living in some of the harshest neighborhoods in Ohio
and Arizona, the two finally settled down in Akron, Ohio,
and coming to Christ, they decided someone needed to reach
out to the gangs and ghetto kids with hip-hop music of
genuine quality that talks about things of eternal value.
The Divine Soldiers' mission is:
1. Rescue captives from a misdirected hip hop
society.
2. Intercept enemy transmission.
3. Interject the previously ignored fifth element -
Jesus Christ, before re-broadcasting.
4. Use non-compromising, frontal display.
Failure is not an option for this crew.
Beverages
On April 7th, 2009 the news came out, that the Brothers
Jason and Brandon Wallace aligned with Jere Thompson of
Listen and Jere B of SounDoctrine to form a new marketing
and multimedia company. The first product released by the
new team is Vocal T. Vocal T is an all natural beverage
special formulated to "Soothe, Refresh, and Restore" your
throat. The product is designed for anyone who uses his or
her voice (singers, teachers, speakers, etc.). All natural
and with an amazing taste, each of the three Vocal T flavors
help consumers "Feel the Difference."
Ohio.com: Mixed-Race
The brothers are interviewed by the website Ohio.com
regarding their background and Barack Obama's election for
President of the United States in 2008. Here a short excerpt
of the article. Please see Ohio.com for more:
"Brandon and Jason Wallace are brothers born to the same
parents. But according to their birth records, they are of
different races.
Brandon, 31, is identified as black on his birth
certificate. His brother, Jason, a year his senior, is
listed as Caucasian on his birth record.
In reality they are biracial — born to a mother who is
African-American and a father who is Caucasian. But in
Wheeling, W.Va., where Brandon was born, racial identity was
determined by the mother. In Bellaire, Ohio, where Jason was
born, the father's race determined the race of the baby.
''It's actually sad that people have to be labeled by race
because there are so many stereotypes that come with those
labels,'' Jason Wallace said. ''I embrace both races because
I am proud of both of my heritages.''
Wallace and many other mixed-race people are hopeful that
the presence of President Barack Obama in the White House
will help erase a stigma against people of African descent,
will encourage others who feel they have been overlooked,
and will bring a sense of unity that an American is an
American, regardless of race or ethnicity."
