Releases: | [The Legacy : The Day It All Changed] [Changing The Atmosphere : From The H.H.H. Perspective (Books)] | Info: | Phlo is a rap artist from the Washington, D.C. He has been
writing and performing for over a decade and have been
mesmerizing the underground scene.
Crew
He, along with his group ‘The Freemen’, has been from church
venues, club venues, to out door festivities, and not to
mention the local jail system.
Quality
The quality music that Phlo brings will make any true rap
head bob. He carries with him a strong sense of originality,
which propels him beyond others who simply choose to mimic.
He displays himself as more than a mere artist but as a true
brother. Phlo believes that one must not only have the
skills but one must have the burden and the heart to reach
out to the masses.
Lyrics
The lyrics within his songs are filled with enlightenment &
encouragement, something the culture needs badly today. His
music has already proven to reach the youth and the older
generation, the secular and the religious people alike. When
it comes to the Phlo no one is left behind.
Positive
He is determining not to just entertain but to deposit
something positive and edifying in the culture. And
significantly, he chooses to use the good news of the
kingdom to get the job done. With everything that is going
for him, the culture should receive him with open arms. It
is indeed about time for a change, a change for the good.
Good?
Can anything good come out of rap music, you ask? If Phlo
has anything to say about it, then you better believe it
can.
Books
Phlo has a book that accompanies the music. It's called
“Changing the Atmosphere”. The book is about using the
gospel of Jesus Christ to bring about needed change to this
hip hop generation and to bring life to a dying generation.
It is about exposing the tricks of the enemy even in secular
hip hop music and about presenting the gift(s) of God even
through Holy Hip Hop music. This book would stir the
conscience of the nation(s). Change is coming.
