Femcee
Yvette 'Lyrical Shine' joined The SOG Crew in 2000 and
became good friends with the SOG family. She met the group
in Bakersfield at a youth revival and ripped on the mic at
hundreds of concerts. Shine participated in their first full
album 'We Rise To Get Down' which came out in 2005 and sold
20,000 independently. Then she turned her attention to her
growing family and decided to step out of the scene in early
2006. Shine is cousin to Latin rap pioneer SlowPain and with
those family roots in music it's hard for her to resist the
call to rap. In 2009 she made a comeback hitting the studio
with Jeff Gibbs (music engineer to Kanye West, The Game,
Justin Timberlake) to work on 'What's Our Name', a song off
SOG's upcoming album 'Where Legends Are Born' (2009).
Distribution
On May 9th, 2007 the 4th Man Music Group announced that the
group SOG Crew would receive distribution for the new album
"Up That Game" (2007).
Movie: The Rally
The SOG Crew will feature in a film named 'The Rally' set to
be released in theatres late 2009. 'The Rally' is a gritty
drama which follows several families living in a town
riddled with crime and corruption. As the local church
works to bring positive change to the town, they are
confronted at every turn by those that desire to keep the
city in bondage... until today. God has sent a team into the
city to bring change. One Event...One church...One God...The
Rally. The film stars Ricky Reyna, T-Bone, Danny Martinez
(Grid Iron Gang), and Kenneth Copeland.
Compilations
The Godfather of Latin hip hop, Mellow Man Ace, will be
using SOG Crew's 'What's Our Name' on his universal
compilation making it a multi-cultural, multi-genre, and
multi-generational album. The compilation Volume 2/3 Double
Release is scheduled for store release late Summer in August
2009.

2005. The S.O.G. Crew has no vision to slow down and
