their sophomore release “In Not Of” (2007), as a follow
up to their solid debut album “One Track Life” (2005)
which received regular radio rotation throughout Australia,
New Zealand, USA and Japan.
Crew
The El Shaddai Crew are focused on bringing hope and purpose
to a lost and broken generation. MCs 3NAYLZ and TC, along
with the newest crew member - turntablist DJ DEL-REY, bring
hip-hop back to ‘The Maker of music’ with their own
fresh fusion of new school gospel hip-hop: powerful beats
and uncompromising rhymes centered around Biblical truths
and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Performances
Hailing from Southern suburbs of Sydney Australia, The Crew
have gained steady momentum over the last 4 years,
developing a healthy fan base and an impressive resume with
a solid schedule of performing and evangelism at various
venues, churches, schools, communities and festivals around
Australia and New Zealand.
Tour
The IN NOT OF Tour, held August 2007, was the first Holy Hip
Hop Tour Australia has ever seen. El Shaddai Crew, Markia,
Tino & DJ Del-Rey hit the east coast of Oz to bring the
gospel to hundreds of young people in schools, prisons,
festivals and the streets. The Tour's was rounded out in
style in Sydney with the main event "Unashamed" headlined by
Lecrae of 116 Clique (Reach Records). |
