Releases: | [Trouble EP] [Let Me In] [Field of Dreams] | Info: | Harold Edwards from Savannah, Georgia is Zion. In Zion's
quest to serve and follow Christ, he through a personal
witness of the Holy Spirit discovered that he had a call on
his life to preach the gospel.
Minister
In July of 1997, he preached is initial sermon and was
licensed into ministry. In October 2002 he began to minister
as a solo artist. Since then God has enabled him to travel
nationally teaching and ministering the word through gospel
rap.
Inspiration
One of his greatest inspirations, other than his father who
is now a pastor, is a gospel rap minister by the name of Jah
Word. Jah Word has been like a big brother to him in this
ministry. When Zion began his music ministry there is one
thought that still echos in his mind that Jah said "never
lose sight on the real focus, this is strictly ministry".
Family
Zion is a faithful and devoted husband to, his wife Tranise,
father of two sons (Zyere and Zayden), passionate minister
and an awesome gospel rap artist. His focus and desire is to
win lost souls to Christ at any cost. He stands firm on the
Word of God and has made a vow not to compromise on God.
Label
On May 30th, 2009 I-66 Entertainment announced the release
of the Trouble EP from their newly signed Gospel Hip Hop
artist Zion. I-66 Entertainment's president Gary W. Coleman
-aka- G-Wade agrees. "I've known Zion for almost 10 years
and I've always known him to be true to his family, true to
his ministry and true to his music. Our union was written
by God and was set in motion on the day we met. We're
pleased with Zion's decision to join the I-66 fam."
Albums
The MC released his album Field of Dreams in 2005. Zion's
most recent project is "Let Me In" (2007) for New Mind
Records.
New Project
In 2009 the rapper releases the Trouble EP through I-66
