Christian Female Rap Network (CFRN) is an inspirational
support system and resource for female rappers worldwide.
CFRN is founded in February 2007.
Goal
As a group, we intend to use our gifts and talents to build
and breed Godly examples, mentors and models. Unified as
one, we will show God's Love through us by supporting each
others ministries, honoring the Savior, and glorifying
God.
Mission
We believe showing our transparency through music and
testimony will bring healing and freedom to others. We are
sharing our stories on the mic and on stage during this
fellowship celebration. Whether it's freedom from
depression, lust, homosexuality, pride, self-esteem issues,
drug addiction, or anything else females go through. God has
called us to come together and be a witness of his awesome
power of transformation.
First recording
Six members of the CFRN: La’Toria, Elle ROC, Serenity,
REGAL, Cameron & Octavia Harris traveled to Portland, Oregon
to celebrate 1 year of fellowship and unity. In addition
these femcees recorded their first album together over the
course of 3 days at Oregon's largest recording studio -
Black Diamond. The album "The CFRN Experience" was recorded
during the weekend of February 7th-9th, 2008.
Mixtapes
The Christian Female Rap Network in cooperation with DJ I
Rock Jesus are set to release an all female rap mixtape
titled "The CFRN Chronicles" in 2008.
Albums
This mixtape is a prelude for their highly anticipated debut
CD "The CFRN Experience". A release date is to be
announced. A DVD should be coming as well. |
