Hit single
As a solo artist he had a hit single in 1994 entitled "Back
in the Day", a nostalgic song. It was released when Ahmad
was only 18 years old, "Back in the Day" hit number 26 on
the US pop charts and number 19 on the U.S. R&B charts.

He released his selftitled mainstream album Ahmad in
1994.
The Death of Me
His much anticipated christian hip hop album "The Death of
Me" is announced for 2008. It will be his first release
after 4th Avenue Jones' album "Stereo" of 2005.
Albumtitle
As the artist explains: The album's title is indicative of
my current space: I am refreshingly free from my unhealthy
expectations, which were fueled by my perfectionistic
tendencies, my desire to achieve and my need to feel loved
unconditionally. I have died to the old "self" that was
fashioned out of materialism and lust, and I am brand
spanking new! My only goal is to be inside of God's will for
my life - no more and no less.
