Info:Jarvis Edward Cooper also known as B.B. Jay released his single Pentecostal Poppa in 1998. His accomplishments were noticed by music industry executive Andre Harrell, who introduced him to Jive Records. His debut album Universal Concussion is released in 2000 of which two singles are derived from.

Rap'n Rev
In 1980 an eleven year old boy named Jarvis Edward Cooper went to a Christian youth camp in Lebanon, New Jersey. This is where he met the Rap'n Rev also known as Charles E. Mitchell Sr., who ministered the gospel through rap. It might be this example that showed the young B.B. Jay the way to become one of the very few christian rappers, who got signed to a major label.

Guest appearances
B.B. Jay also features on Hezekiah Walker's song "Let's Dance" with Dave Hollister. This single is also released through Jive/Verity in 2000. And he featured the same year on Mary Mary's track "I Sings" on the Columbia label.

3 The God Way
After his debut album it stays quiet for a long time, untill B.B. Jay joins Pettidee and Demetrus to form 3 The God Way to release a selftitled album through Kaught Upp Entertainment in 2005.

Awards
B.B. Jay received a Holy Hip Hop Award in 2002 and was nominated in the same year for the New Artist Of The Year Stellar Award.
At the Carolina Holy Hip Hop Achievement Awards 2007 he won the "National Hip Hop Apostle of the Year" award.

New Album
A new B.B. Jay release is scheduled for 2007 titled "Unlimited" through his own label Jizfat Global Music. It will be released under his own name J.E. Cooper. A DVD will be released as well.
