J-Remy has taken the spotlight yet again with his sophomore
release, "The Backwoods Legend" (2005). Production by Kene
"Ghost" Bell (Grits, Toby Mac, Fred Hammond, Out of Eden)
and J-Remy himself.
Guest appearances are by Kevin Max (of DC Talk) Bonafide (of
Grits) and Pigeon John (of LA Symphony).
Videos
In May 2006 his music video "You Don't Know Me" was
filmed in Portland, Oregon. It also features Pigeon John and
Bonafide. On April 26th, 2007 the filmdirector of "You
Don't Know Me", Jason Satterlund, won the award in the
category "Best Music Video By A Nashville Filmmaker" at
the 38th Nashville Film Festival.

On May 18th, 2007 the rapper announces on his MySpace blog a
new project, entitled: Knitty Gritty. |
