Country:United States
Info:SWORD is from from Westerville, Ohio. His age is in the heart, not the body.

Simply put: God is good! Living long enough to be delivered is a testimony itself. However, showing you what God has done and will do for me in this ministry is my testimony.

The MC explains: I've loved music for as long as I can remember, so it was a privilege to accomplish what I did while I was in it for myself. After being delivered, God asked me to drop what I was doing. "Stop what you are doing, I have something better for you over here", is what I heard often. God asks you to sacrifice your best. Therefore, it took me a minute to let go, but I obediently offered up my passion for music.

After I announced my decision to sacrifice music, God sent messages that he wanted me to change what I was saying, not what I was doing. God has shown me through vision, prophecy, and scripture that my talent is to be used for Him. I am blessed and ready to serve you Lord!
SWORD continues: God gave me my name.. It's a long story, but it was all part of the shedding of my fleshly self. I was what most call an "underground" MC. Yeah I did the dirty basement gigs, shows with bad sound, bad promoters, etc. The cool thing about being part of a small label was the different states I got to see and the people I met along the way.

Those who don't know, there are some very skilled, hungry artist in the "underground," and they will travel to rhyme for a Snicker and 2 White Castles. They just want to be heard. They helped developed my talent. On that side of the gates, rhymes come a dime a dozen so I had to keep my SWORD sharp if you know what I mean.

The MC explains how he got started: I got into rhyming by way of poetry. I look back and laugh... I started writing poetry because I thought the girls liked it. Well now I rhyme to win souls for Christ. I have faith that God has blessed me with this talent. I want to be a good steward of my talent. I hope that the Holy Ghost shows in all I do!

His debut album “The Parable of Talents” was released by Gye Nyeme Recordings in 2004. “Forecast” on the project actually reached #1 on a well known Christian hip-hop internet radio station. Also, “Talents” on the “The Parable of Talents” as well reached the top 15 on the same station.

SWORD is also a member of the “Prophetionals”.
