label Holy Nation Ministries. Tywone was the host and
producer of a Denver, Colorado TV show, "Shouts Out To Da
Hood".
Grapetree Records
Tywone is also featured on Grapetree Records' Heaven's Hip
Hop Compilation Volume 3 : Ghetto Drama (1998), with the
song, "Down On My Knees."
Nuwine
That he was featured on a Grateptree compilation is no
surpise as Tywone says: "Understand, I wasn’t rapping yet -
until I discovered that it was such a thing as christian
rap. Soon after I stepped out and began rapping. I later ran
into Nuwine and Lil Raskull around Fifth Ward Trinity
Garden. I was really encouraged by Nuwine, he is really
diligent in his ministry. I even helped him sell tapes on
the street when he was starting out. We later did concerts
together."
Album
In 1999 he released the compilation album Shouts Out To Da
Hood.
