The former third member Silas is focussing on his solo
material right now. On the 1999 album "Time Waits For No
One" a fourth member is present as well named Kadesh.
Stop The Violence
The duo also worries about young people and streetviolence:
Every year an increasing number of youths are "hanging out"
with nothing to do. The result has been an increase in
violence, drugs and crime among our youth population. The
Royal Priesthood have come to try to counteract the negative
influences affecting our youth by putting on a free hip hop
concert providing counselling, education, positive
direction, and alternative methods of resolving issues
affecting their lives via music. We act to reverse the
trends towards increasing overt acts of youth violence now,
in order to save young lives and to prevent adult violence
in the future.
Tools
Education and awareness is the first important step and the
key to offering and developing practical working solutions
in addressing the social issues and concerns regarding the
continuous increase in youth violence. With today's youth
receiving positive messages through music, counselling and
literature, society as a whole will benefit. It is our duty
to do what we can.
The Purposes of the Royal Priesthood is to:
A. Provide free counselling services to youths and their
parents.
B. Produce pamphlets and literature with a message of an
anti-violence,
anti-crime and anti-drug lifestyle and distribute such
materials directly to youths through Royal Priesthood
volunteers, the school system, youth organizations,
probation officers and other organizations which assist
youths.
C. Produce educational music compact discs and educational
music videos with a message of an anti-violence, anti-crime
and anti-drug lifestyle and distribute such materials
directly to youths and youth organisations, as well as
promoting broadcasting of the material.
D. Establish an educational website on the Internet
providing a message of an anti violence, anti-crime and
anti-drug lifestyle, and information on how to access
counsellors and obtain pamphlets and literature.

Contents
From the director of the ground breaking Royal priesthood
video "Gods Army" and "Stop the Violence", Femi Iloyi’s
latest film, Broken Silence, focuses on the painful reality
that are children have to go through. It is the first
installment in a trilogy of films documenting troubled teens
who feel their voices are never heard.
Broken Silence follows the journeys of three boys struggling
with themselves as young people and with the pressures of
life. From selling guns to the effects on their physical and
mental health to wrestling with their darkest spiritual
fears, Broken Silence delivers a chilling portrait of a
community in crisis. With an unflinching eye the film
captures their stories over a 5 day period. It takes
enormous courage to face these demons, and even more to
allow the world to watch. |
