made up of his first and middle name. Growing up with
parents, who struggled with addiction, times were tough. As
the MC states: "The one thing I am thankful for is that my
parents introduced me to the Lord. At the time, I accepted
Christ, my faith was just a feeling though and not an
action."
Unstable
Because his parents stayed in rehab, including the drug
abuse, and unstable upbringing, he turned from the Lord.
Then things went down hill fast, as he says: "Next thing I
know my parents hit an all time low. I was forced to finish
my last 3 years of high school living with my Aunt, and
occasionally couch surfing between different friend’s
homes."
Rededicated
He continues: "Finally in 2004 the Lord shook me, sought me
out, and redeemed me. I've rededicated my life to him, and
I'm focused now more than ever."
Discipleship
With his passion being discipleship, building up his church,
and spreading the gospel, he see it fit to use hip hop music
as a soundtrack to those things. Dillon Chase finishes with
stating "I now have a family, a beautiful wife and friends
that are anchored in Christ."
