Info:A four men crew from London. The 29th Chapter are Mr. Prince (Prince Laryea), Dangerous (Dave Plumb), Gladiator (Kevin McGlade) and Navigator (James Morson). They decided in January of 2004 to go full time as artists ministering at schools. They started out as Acts 29, but to avoid confusion with the Portland, Oregon-based group Acts 29, the crew relaunched as 29th Chapter.

History
Prince has been rapping since 1994 when he was half of a West London duo called Set Apart with lyricist James Morson, now better known as The Navigator. In 1998 they met another rapper, Yinka, who was doing street work in the Harlesden area. By 1999 the three guys were doing a lot of gigs together and began to talk about the possibility of creating a collective of rappers to share the Christian faith with Britain's youth.

Name
Yinka came up with the name Acts 29. The group began to connect up with a Birmingham-based producer Dave "Dangerous" Plumb while at Soul Survivor the group spotted a young Irish breaker, Kevin "Gladiator" McGlade. With Yinka easing down on his hip-hop commitments to become an assistant pastor at his church, by the summer of 2001 Mr Prince, The Navigator, Dangerous and Gladiator were operating as Acts 29. Their debut recording was the single 'Born Again Believers', soon to be followed by the group's debut EP 'History'.

Awards
29th Chapter won in the category "Best Gospel Act" at the Urban Music Awards 2008. The ceremony was held on Saturday November 15th, 2008.

New Label
The 29th Chapter has been approached by a number of different recordlabels including OTR (Outreach Records), a subsidiary of Survivor Records headed up by Les Moir. OTR offered a record deal for their third album. In May of 2006, after much prayer and counsel, the crew decided to sign the record deal.

Albums
The 29th Chapter returned to the studio in the spring of 2006 to make a new album entitled "Underdogz", which got released in August of the same year. This is their first Outreach Records album.
