| Info: | GUN is Calmplex, The Man Prefekt, Glyf and Kid Curry. On May
24th, 2007 it was announced that Calmplex and The Man
Prefekt teamed up to form the group GUN.
Name
Calmplex explains the name: "The idea behind the name is a
very common idea used often in hip hop music. Basicly it's
all about shooting off verbal rounds. If your familiar with
hip hop music I'm sure you're familiar with this concept.
There's also some spiritual/philisophical meanings to it
that will unfold within our music. It is not literal. GUN
does not support violence."
Collective
The crew consists of Prefekt, Calmplex, DiRT, Asaph life,
Shobred, J-walk, Codak, Wut Metaphysical and Knowlij in
2008.
Albums
Their first EP by GUN entitled "Thoughtomatic Weaponry" is
released on The Labaddictz label in 2008. A full length
album is in the making for 2009.
