siblings Donald Newman and Jennifer Lee-Newman. Donald is
also known as Smooth. The second MC is K-Buc or spelled as
KaBuc. Jennifer Lee-Newman is also known as Jen-E. K2S
became a duo, when Kabuc left the crew in August 2004.
Debut Album
The Dynamic Twins helped produce their demo recording
released in 1994. Finally a year later Grapetree Records
comes out with K2S's debut West Coast Thang.
Awards
The crew receives two Dove Award nominations for rap song of
the year "After the Rain" and for rap album of the year,
Welcome To The New Era. This album was released in 1997.
Label
It seems the Metro One days are over and the duo has gone
independant by signing their label New Era Recordz to 4th
Man Records in March 2006.
