Info:Othello currently residing in Portland, Oregon is well known of the bands Lojique and Lightheaded. He's still a member of the latter crew. His hip hop sound is a blend of soul and jazz.

Featured
Othello can be heard for the first time with Lojique's You Don't Know The Half.com on the compilation Fashion Expo (2000) of Syntax Records.

Albums
He made his solodebut with the album Classic in 2004. This release feautured the jazzband the Hipknotics with real live instruments. The album of Othello and the Hipknotics "Classic" is first released by Miclife Recordings in Japan on July 14th, 2004.

The Hipknotics
This jazzband called The Hipknotics consists of four members, Lief Dalan on the Fender Rhodes, Alex Mortland on bass, Bryan Bisordi on drums and Gregor Lothian on the saxaphone (2004).

Touring
Together with The Hipknotics and the Procussions he toured Japan.

Video
His solo video debut is "Let's Just", a track from the album "Alive At The Assembly Line" (2006/2007). The video is released on October 30th, 2007.

Elevator
His sophomore effort Elevator Music (2005), contains songs, which are recorded in 2002-2003. During the release Othello felt he had made more progress as a MC, since those years.

Alive at the Assembly Line
The title of his third project is "Alive At The Assembly Line". The album is first released by Miclife Recordings in Japan, September 12th, 2006 and is released through HipHop is Music in 2007.

Difference
The differences with the HipHop is Music release is that the track "R.A.P.S." has a new beat, produced by M-Phazes, and track "Work Epic" is removed.

New projects
Othello will release the following projects:

The Required Taste
Othello teams up with DJ Vajra for "The Required Taste" set for 2009 on Plug Label.

Translation Please
For the project "Translation Please" he will be working again with real live musicians as the project is going to be "a heavy jazz hip hop album," like Othello explains. The album is set to be released in Japan for 2009.

14KT
Othello and producer 14KT will be working with each other as well: The albumtitle and releasedate is to be announced. The album is set for 2010.
