South America and now residing in Manassas, Virginia after
moving from Brooklyn, New York in April 2008. He's been a
MC for at least ten years now and "pro-Christ" for half that
time seriously. He moved to the United States in 1996.
Albums
Conquest released his debut album "Torchbearer" in 2004. His
sophomore album was the double disc record entitled:
"Expose/Torchbearer" released in 2005. This also contained
his debut album for the fans.
Albums
For 2008 there is a fourth album coming called "Outspoken"
This will be the first album Conquest has done that doesn't
fit neatly under the 'Christian hip hop' banner, 'It's a
straight up hip hop album' but it will come from a certain
train of thought and be based around significant events that
have left a mark on my past two years. Longtime fans need
not worry about 'Quest's new album being a total and abrupt
change, 'Oh, I still have a couple of joints on there that's
definitely Christ centered without question, but it's in
conjunction with the rest of the album's theme...which is
way more personal, socially aware and much more universal
than anything I've done on Torchbearers one through three.' |
