California. At twelve years of age he took up breakdancing.
At thirteen he was deejaying local parties and writing his
name in graffiti on any surface he could find.
Recording
By the time he reached fifteen he was recording his own
songs with an 8-second sampler and a Tascam 4-track and
battling other young MCs at open-mics.
Crew
After being part of the crew the SolSeekers during the
People Watching album (2000) he joined Scribbling Idiots.
Albums
In 2002 he released his debut recording entitled the
Brutally Honest EP. Four years later after his EP came out
the MC released his sophomore album One Man's Trash on
ILLECT Recordings in 2006.
Collaborations
In 2004 he teamed up with his crew mate Cas Metah to release
the album "Scribbling Idiots present JustMe and Cas
Metah". Which would receive a follow up in September 2007
as "JustMe & Cas Metah Are Unemployed".
Another collaboration recording was made in 2006. This time
together with Sintax the Terrific they released the
Merciless EP on ILLECT Recordings on December 12th, 2006.
Special Project
JustMe is initiator of the release "Falling Tsar Project"
(ILLECT Recordings - 2007). The album is made to raise funds
for eight year-old cancer patient Mason. |
