| Info: | Coleon is born in Chicago, Illinois and later relocated to
New Jersey known as NuJersu to the locals. On Easter 1990,
Coleon realized that he was a sinner in need of a Savior and
accepted Jesus as Lord of his life.
Hip hop
Since Hip Hop was a big part of his old self, he was quickly
introduced to SFC for his listening pleasure. While
attending College at Lincoln University in 1995, He felt the
Lord directing him to represent the Word through the music
he enjoyed.
SNL
He formed a group called SNL (Soldier N tha LORD), which
consisted of David, J-ROC, Adrian, Hendrick, and Crog, who
is now know as Coleon. This group of brothers went from spot
to spot touching hearts through the lyrics. The SNL
eventually died out, but Coleon kept on doing shows and
writing lyrics whenever the opportunity presented itself.
Album
Coleon released his debut album Tha Seed on Syntax Records
in 2001. He is now a pastor and has laid down the mic. |
