Info:Dashawn Brown from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania also known as Judah Priest has been doing hip hop ministry since 1994. The MC has become a household name in the Christian music industry.

Ministry
Being in the Gospel Music Industry has helped Judah Priest with his ministry. He uses music to help connect with youth. He loves to help people and is a youth counselor at Triumph Baptist Church in Philadelphia, He also works as a client care worker with mental retardation & behavior children. Priest has used music to help teach and motivate children to become closer to God and to use their different gifts to serve Him.

Artist Name
The MC states about his name: "The name Judah Priest stands for Joy Teaching [...] My Mom once told me that Judah means "joy". So that?s how that came about and Priest followed me. I used to be known as Poetic Priest, Priest means teach, so when I put them together, I get Joy Teaching."

Soul Harvest
Judah Priest has started a community outreach program called The Soul Harvest. The Soul Harvest is a free concert geared towards bringing the music to the streets. The Goals that Priest has set for his career are simple: to stay with God and to be a continuous role model for youth.

Shared Stage
Priest has ministered at various places such as Rap fest, Flavor Fest, and the Holy Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. Priest has also shared the stage with Other Christian MC?s like the Cross Movement, J-Silas, The Street Sweepers and various others.

Movie
He has co-starred in the movie The Round Table (1999). Produced by Paul McDaniel and Alpha Productions.

Videos
On January 12th, 2008 Judah Priest will make his first video for the song "Jahs Children" from the album "Vally of Kings" (2008).

Albums
He released his debut album "Tragedy of the Darkest Hour" in 2003. His sophomore release "The Sacrifice" is released on 4th Man Records in 2006.

New Project
On July 19th, 2007 the MC announces a new album: Vally of Kings. The release is postponed until 2009. A new project for 2009 is coming as well entitled "Royal Priesthood".
