Digital downloads
The year 2003 offered a successful legal system of
downloading music for the first time, through the iTunes
Music Store. In that year iTunes sold more than five million
songs. The service was only limited to the United States at
first. But in 2004 an iTunes Store would open in Europe for
the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
Milestone
In the wake of this online revolution Holy Hip Hop announced
on March 8th, 2006 as a part of it's Digital Music
Initiatives, that the 100,000 Digital Downloads' Milestone
had been reached. On their site the royalties per album are
listed as well.
Ringtones
In 2007 the initiative will be taken to offer ringtones.
Grammy Awards
In August 2006 Holy Hip Hop released a Music News Flash
concerning a Grammy category for christian rap:
Effective for it's 2007 Grammy Awards (49th Annual)
submissions window (Summer/Fall 2006), The Recording Academy
(Grammy Society) has announced to it's members that it has
updated it's Grammy Awards music listings and notably
established a new submissions category, opening the door for
the first time for Christian MCs specializing in Hip Hop
Ministry, titled: 'Best Rock Gospel or Best Rap Gospel'
Kurtis Blow : Music Ministry Recordings
On September 20th, 2006 it became known that a new label
would be formed, which is a partnership between hip hop
pioneer Kurtis Blow, now a pastor, and Holy Hip Hop Music
together with EMI Gospel, to produce, distribute and market
"Music Ministry Recordings".
Music Licensing Deal
HolyHipHop.com announced on December 11th, 2006 that it has
formed a strategic alliance with Atlanta-based Marketing
firm: Manifesting Ministries and Production firm: Cajo
International, in order to implement it's Television Sync
Licensing Agreement with leading New York firm, specializing
in Sync Licensing, providing instrumentals and music to
television shows, commercials, advertisement agencies and
movie producers worldwide.

The terms of the alliance provide that Cajo International
will manage all music and beat submissions, Manifesting
Ministries will facilitate all relationships for content;
and HolyHipHop.com will channel all music submissions
directly through Cajo International and Manifesting
Ministries for processing and delivery to content
partners.
Clean content
The company Holy Hip Hop sees a market in providing 'clean'
content to the media marketplace, as they state: "Secular
rappers inability to cleverly use the English language,
without spittin lyrics laced with profanity and debauchery,
has created an unprecedented opportunity for HolyHipHop.com
to work with anointed emcees and producers worldwide to
build the world's largest catalogue of morally-grounded
beats and rhymes for back-end use within advertisements,
video, tv and film projects worldwide." Their first music
submissions will ship to New York on January 8, 2007 and
they will provide a steady stream of licensing content,
consistently every thirty (30) days thereafter.
Marketing
HolyHipHop.com announced on January 17th, 2007, that it has
formed a strategic alliance with Atlanta-based MTM
Entertainment ('More Than Music'). The terms of the
agreement provide that MTM Entertainment will exclusively
manage all of HolyHipHop.com's street marketing and
grass-roots promotional campaigns.
Independent Music Awards
On June 18th, 2008 the Fellowship of Holy Hip Hop announced
that it has formed a strategic alliance with Music Resource
Group (MRG):

the Musician's Atlas (with readership in excess of 250,000)
and the interactive Musician’s AtlasOnline and (2) producers
of the global "Independent Music Awards" - ‘the awards
program for the indie revolution’.
Holy Hip Hop Categories
As part of the alliance, the Fellowship of Holy Hip Hop will
assist the Independent Music Awards (IMA) with the creation
of new IMA categories honoring top Holy Hip Hop Album and
Song Winners for the upcoming 8th annual IMA program. The
IMAs is an unique international program that promotes
independent artists and releases to more than 15 million
music fans and key industry players via year-long print,
online and broadcast promotions, plus distribution and
performance opportunities. Winners are determined by A-list
artist and industry judges which have included: Speech,
Yolanda Adams, Jose Feliciano, Peter Gabriel, Norah Jones,
Erykah Badu and George Clinton among others.
Judging Panel
Industry leaders in the Holy Hip Hop and Gospel community
such as "Kurtis Blow" Walker and Christopher 'Play' among
other key members of the community suggested by the
Fellowship of Holy Hip Hop, will join the IMA judging panel
to determine the winners in the Holy Hip Hop Song and Album
categories for the upcoming 8th annual IMA program. By
adding Holy Hip Hop categories to its already broad range
of music genres, the IMAs becomes one of the very few
mainstream awards programs to honor excellence by artists in
this genre.

On March 30th, 2009 Holy Hip Hop Video announced that it is
now set for its premier season debut on Trinity Broadcast
