Releases: | [EP] [Milk Rocks (single)] [Thank God (single)] [The Rise] | Info: | The Preachaholicz from Oklahoma City consisted of the
members Big Beem, Mo Stylez and PC.
Albums
The crew released their debut album The Rise on Alpha Omega
Records on February 28th, 2004.
New Name
In 2006 the name Preachaholicz was laid to rest and two MCs
continued as Big Beam and Skinny Red.
New direction
The MCs will direct their music in the future towards the
mainstream music market, this will not take away their
beliefs as Skinny states: "I'am a rapper whose faith and
beliefs are Christian, not a Christian rapper, cause I make
music for everybody to listen too. You gotta know how to
still interact in this world without seeming throwed off and
at the same time you can't lower your standards and morals
just for a dollar."
New Label
The duo is now signed to EMG (Executive Music Group) from
Dallas Fort Worth, Texas and are currently working on a new
album.
Touring
The duo is going on a tour in 2007, supported with a
company sponsoring "Milk Rocks", Big Beam and Skinny will
be in schools all over the United States to help aid the
campaign.
Songs
From relational songs like "Look For Love" to songs that
express hope through faith like "Thank God" and "Under
The Blood", Big Beam & Skinny show you that there's more
to life and music than sex, violence, and drugs.
Clean
"That's the wonderful thing that people say about our
music, that it bangs, it's hot, it has radio and commercial
appeal, and yet it's clean entertainment" says Big Beam.
They are currently working on new singles to push to clubs
and radio from their record deal with EMG Executive Music
Group in Dallas, Texas. |
