Damon O'Brien is DJ D-Lite from Austin, Texas, who has
released several records.
Radiopresenter
Besides being active as a radiopresenter for DaSouth.com DJ
D-Lite is currently the radio program director as well
(2009).
Radio
He did a radioshow for the site HolyCultureRadio.com from
2005 to 2008. With this mixshow, "3rd Coast Fiyah" on Holy
Culture Radio, he won the 2006 Texas Holy Hip Hop
Achievement Award Winner for Internet Radio Program of the
Year.
Record pool
DJ D-Lite runs one of the only christian hip hop and R&P
record pools - Kingdom Affiliates www.kingdomaffiliates.com.
This started out as the Holy Culture Record Pool from March
to December 2008 and is renamed Kingdom Affiliates at the
end of 2008.
Record Pool
A record pool is a method of music distribution that allows
DJs to receive promotional music to play on media outlets
such as AM/FM radio, internet radio, satellite radio,
podcasts, Christian cafe’s, concert venues, etc. Indie
artists and record labels send their newest releases to the
pool, and in exchange, the pool “breaks” the music, and
provides valuable feedback on them.
Shift
DJ D-Lite already was part of DaSouth.com before he started
working on Holy Culture Radio (HCR) in 2005. In December
2008 he would return to DaSouth.com due to a conflict of
interest as "owner" and "president" of HCR and helping the
relaunch of the website DaSouth.com. Victor Padilla also
known as DJ MVP took full control again over HCR as former

Awards
In February 7th, 2007 the site Rapzilla.com announced it's
winners making DJ D-Lite the "Best Radio DJ" of 2006 at the
Rapzilla Best of 2006 Awards.
Texas Awards
DJ D-Lite has won a Texas Holy Hip Hop Achievement Award
for:
- DJ of the Year (2005)
- Internet Radio Program of the Year (2006)
- Vanguard of the Year (2006)
- Internet Radio Show of the Year (2007 )

Label
On March 23rd, 2007 it's announced that DJ D-Lite is Much
Luvv Records' official DJ. He will be responsible for
launching exclusive music, providing and hosting mixtape and
compilation projects, as well as being a turntablist for
stage performances by Much Luvv artists.

The DJ has released two mixtapes with recordlabel and
productionteam La Familia Muzik. These free albums are:
