Hazakim, Hebrew for "strong ones", is a music ministry whose
purpose and intent is to proclaim the truths of God's word
with a messianic edge. Due to an upbringing in the messianic
Jewish movement, as well as their multicultural roots which
include Jewish ancestry, their music possesses a trademark
Middle Eastern/Hebrew influence which sets them apart from
other hip-hop artists.
Label
On April 4th, 2008 the duo announced they were signed to
Lamp Mode Recordings.
Compilations
Hazakim's music can be found on the compilations Sphere of
Hiphop (1997) and Open Mic volume 1 (2000).
Albums
But in 1999 they released their own maxi-single, to be
followed in 2001 with a full length album named
Hip-Hologetics. A new project called Theophanies
[Hip-Hologetics Volume 2] came out on Lamp Mode Recordings
in 2009.
