The label is founded by Joshua Wann also known as DJ
Essence. He was working together with Timothy Brindle on his
hip hop album, when Timothy suddenly gave his life to
Christ. DJ Essence and Timothy began to grow in the Lord
together and became very close friends.
Roster
The roster of Lamp Mode Recordings changed over time. The
initial line up is:
- DJ Essence
- Shai Linne: The solus Christus project (2005)
- Timothy Brindle: Killing Sin (2005)
The artist R-Swift made a partnership with Lamp Mode
Recordings to release his album Revolutionary Theme Muzik
(2006). His next album Soapbox (2008) is a joined joint
venture between CMR and Lamp Mode.
