among others for Uprok Records in 2002. He is co-founder of
the label ILLect Records and was part of the crew Wax Musim
Collective. Jon Madison started to DJ around 1985, when his
brother bought a turntable. He got his name from friends,
who noticed his incessant purchasing of Chuck Taylor's
Converse All Star shoes.
DJ Allstar has also released a CD under a different name
Yochannan. The album "Worshipmusic" is a mix of jungle, hip
hop, jazz and trip-hop. |
