Info:Jeremy Hinermann also known as DiRT has worked together with POD among others. He is renowed for his emo hiphop and his sound is therefore sometimes percieved as dark. He works with his crew under the name Shadow of the Locust. This is a changing team of MC's. The Plague album (1998) is still the must listen from this artist. DiRT collaborated with Nazir and released an EP Broken Earth (2003). In 2005 he did a tour in Brazil.

Home
The artist moved from Lemon Grove, California to San Francisco in 2009.

Shadow of the locust
Shadow of the Locust was a vision given to Dirt in the mid nineteen nineties, during the infancy of his career as a MC. Inspired by Joel chapter 2 of the Bible. DiRT penned the words that would be the mission statement known as the Locust Papri, of a network of like-minded individuals who strive for the same accord.

Crew
This everchanging crew added new members:
- Calmplex (2005)
- MC Noiz (2005)
On April 2nd, 2007 a new MC is announced who joins the collective his name is: The Man Prefekt.

In the hole
In January 2006 his site Intheholehegoes.com went offline. Jeremy chose to lay down the mic and concentrate on his fellowship with God and his family. His struggles have been many from financial to physical and a new record deal was never signed. These hardships made him focus again towards his career and his life.

Digital
In April 2006 his two albums Plague and A War To Restore became available through iTunes.

Mixtapes
The 2007 album is supported with the release of a mixtape "The Upsetter Mixtape" in October 2006, based on the shelved record "Who Burnt Down The Studio?", that features re-recorded tracks of DiRT's first two albums Plague and A War To Restore and snippets from the new album Heavy Manners.

New Album
DiRT released a new album entitled "Heavy Manners" on Syntax Records in 2007. Heavy Manners is the product of four years of recording prior to his sabbatical of the hip hop scene.

Postponed
The album was set to release in June 2007, but was postponed until September to receive better distribution and promotion through the Syntax Records network.

Solomon Cain
The MC is already working on another project with 80 Proof the crew is called "Solomon Cain" On July 11th, 2007 DiRT announces teaming up with 80 Proof in Arizona for the recording of new tracks. The album is in it's final stages in August 2008 and will be released through End of Earth Records in late 2008 or early 2009.

New solo album
DiRT announced in August 2008 a new project entitled "Duppy Conqueror". As the artist explains: "[A] solo album with guests. It will be a themed album with all roots reggae samples over breakbeats. Underground meets reggae style, with my gritty flow over the top. The name 'duppy' is a Jamaican word meaning "ghost or spirit". Duppy Conqueror means that I fight in the spiritual."

Special Project
The rapper also considers a project named "When 2 Giants Clash" this will be an album featuring both DiRT and 7Lock.
